Think Big International Foundation Programme Scholarship for the year 2019 is now available.
The Scholarship:
- All scholarships will be given in the form of a tuition fee discount and are non-transferable. No cash alternative will be offered.
- If the amount of scholarship awarded is more than the cost of the tuition fees, the tuition fees will be covered in full and any remainder will not be issued
- Undergraduate scholarships (unless otherwise stated) will be awarded for all years of undergraduate study taking place at the University of Bristol, subject to satisfactory attainment throughout the programme.
- If you receive an International Foundation Programme scholarship, this will be valid only for your Foundation year, and will not automatically continue into Undergraduate study. You are however welcome to apply for Undergraduate scholarships in the following year.
- Scholars who defer their studies cannot defer their scholarship.
- Scholars agree to act as a good ambassador for the University of Bristol and at times will be asked to participate in events or promotional activities. Any involvement in these activities will take up no more than 5 hours per term.

Unless otherwise stated, scholarships on offer will take the form of a tuition fee discount. Due to strict UKVI regulations, students MUST be able to show they have sufficient funds to cover any remainder of tuition fees as well as adequate living expenses in order to successfully obtain a visa to enter the UK.

- 10 x £5,000 scholarships are available to International Foundation Programme (IFP) students for September 2019 entry.
- The awards can only be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees.
Eligibilities
- Eligibility (International Foundation Programme)
- Be an applicant to the Arts & Humanities; Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics; or Social Sciences & Law International Foundation Programmes at the University of Bristol;
- Start their International Foundation Programme in September 2019;
- Be classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes;
- Not already be in receipt of other funding which would equate to more than the full cost of tuition fees alongside a Bristol scholarship.
- Eligibility (Undergraduate)
- Be an applicant to any undergraduate course at the University of Bristol, with the exception of Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science;
- Start their undergraduate programme in September 2019;
- Be classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes;
- Not already be in receipt of other funding which would equate to more than the full cost of tuition fees alongside a Bristol scholarship.
- Eligibility (Postgraduate)
- Be an applicant to any one year, full-time postgraduate programme at the University of Bristol;
- Start their postgraduate programme in September 2019;
- Be classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes;
- Not already be in receipt of other funding which would equate to more than the full cost of tuition fees alongside a Bristol scholarship.

- You can submit an application for the Think Big International Foundation Programme Scholarship using the International Scholarships online application form.

- There are two applications rounds for this scholarship:
- Round One Deadline: 31 March 2019. Successful applicants will be informed via email by 26 April 2019.
- Round Two Deadline: 30 June 2019. Successful applicants will be informed via email by 19 July 2019.
Please Note: You will automatically be considered for rounds 1 and 2, so there is no need to submit your application again if you are not made an offer in round 1.
