Eligibilities
- Be aged 15 to 17 years old at the time of application
- Be enrolled in high school or a similar program
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership potential and a commitment to service
- Be eligible for need-based financial aid
Application Process
- Submit an online application. The online application includes questions about your personal background, academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and leadership experience. You will also be asked to submit a video essay and two letters of recommendation.
- Complete a video interview. If you are selected as a semi-finalist, you will be invited to complete a video interview. The video interview will give you a chance to learn more about the RISE Program and to share your story with the selection committee.
- Attend a final interview. If you are selected as a finalist, you will be invited to attend a final interview in person. The final interview will give you a chance to meet with the selection committee and to learn more about the RISE Program.
