Call for The ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarship 2024-25 is open now!!!
The Bond Univeristy looks beyond academic achievement when searching for their next leading business executive, film producer, Olympian or senior legal counsel. The ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarship celebrates this by awarding full-fee sporting scholarships to outstanding sports men and women from around Australia with the chance to help fund their tertiary studies.
These scholarships open the door to applicants with high achievements in the sporting arena to their personalised education, fast-tracked degree options and small classes.
Applications are now open and close at 11:59pm on Thursday, 1 August, 2024.
The ADCO Sports Excellence Scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding sportsmen and women in Australia who demonstrate leadership, excellence in their chosen sport, and strong academic potential. This scholarship aims to support students in funding their undergraduate or postgraduate studies at Bond University.
As an ADCO Sports Excellence Scholar, you will be required to:
- Represent Bond University in your chosen sport where reasonably possible. For example: UniSport Nationals, World University Games, Club Sport.
- Attend Bond University’s annual Blues Awards.
- Update the University with your sporting achievements and allow Bond University to promote these achievements.
- Promote ADCO and Bond University wherever relevant during your sporting activities or media opportunities.
- Update ADCO and the University of your academic and sporting progress on a semester basis.
- Apply to become a member of Bond’s Elite Sport Program(BESP) and meet with the BESP Manager during each semester of study.

- Full tuition remission for any single undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
- A living allowance of AUD 10,000 per year for undergraduate applicants, pro rata for part-time students, to a maximum of AUD 20,000. This allowance can be used for accommodation, food, sporting equipment, participation in sporting events and training, Student Services and Amenities Fees, and textbooks
Eligibilities
Applicant:
- Must be a domestic student applying for a single undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
- Must demonstrate outstanding and current involvement in a chosen sport, with a preference given to Olympic sports.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
- Must meet the prerequisites and admissions requirements for the chosen degree program.
Application Process
- Complete the Bond University Study Application Form for the chosen program.
- Complete the Bond University Scholarship Application Form, using the same login details as used for the study application. Enter ‘scholarship’ in the keyword field on the Start an Application tab.
- Submit all required documents before the application closing date.
