Calling applications for the TD Scholarships for Community Leadership 2025!

TD is committed to opening doors for a more inclusive and sustainable tomorrow and creating conditions where everyone has a chance to succeed in a changing world. TD Scholarships are offered to students who, like TD, help support change, nurture progress, and contribute to making the world a better place.

Since 1995, TD has awarded millions in TD Scholarships for Community Leadership to recognize students who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community leadership. TD Scholarships for Community Leadership recipients receive up to $70,000 for tuition and living expenses as well as opportunities for paid summer employment, peer networking, and mentorship. Supporting young community leaders is one way TD is helping build a more inclusive and sustainable tomorrow.

The selection process for recipients is clearly defined. Up to 80 finalists undergo interviews conducted by five regional selection panels. Following these interviews, at least two scholarship recipients are selected from the five regions: Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario, Prairies/Northwest Territories/Nunavut, and British Columbia/Yukon. This structured approach ensures a fair and comprehensive selection of deserving candidates across Canada.
A scholarship awarded under the program can be held at any college or university in Canada and approved by TD (“Approved School”). The Scholarship recipient (“Recipient”) is responsible for securing admission to an Approved School of their choice, in accordance with the requirements and deadlines of each Approved School. Note: Recipients whose tuition is less than ten thousand Canadian dollars per year will not receive the difference between their actual tuition costs and the ten thousand Canadian dollars maximum in cash or as a credit toward other expenses. Scholarship recipients who choose to decline summer employment for any reason are not entitled to the value of wages they may have earned.
