Middlesex University London is offering several scholarships for students in different categories. The scholarships are:
- Community Scholarship
The Middlesex University Community Scholarship in UK is awarded to undergraduate students who have been an excellent role model within their school, college or community, and/or have succeeded in overcoming personal difficulties or challenging situations.
As a Community Scholarship recipient, you would be expected to participate in various activities and events aimed at raising aspirations and awareness of Higher Education. This is a great opportunity for you to gain practical work experience, meet new people and have a direct, positive influence on young people’s lives.

- The Lucy Graham Dance Award
The Lucy Graham Dance award is funded by the family of Lucy Graham, a well-respected dancer and teacher.
The value of the award is £500 and if you are a current student enrolled on a BA Dance Programme or starting your course in September you are eligible to apply. To win this award you should be able to display achievement despite economic and personal difficulties and have completed some dance-focused community engagement
- The Optivo Study4Success Award
Optivo Housing, the provider of student accommodation on campus are offering to pay for one room for one incoming student starting in September this year.
- The Redrow Aspirational Award
Redrow Housing has kindly donated the funds for this award and it is open to any undergraduate student studying any subject starting this year. If you are currently living in London and come from a financially disadvantaged background you are eligible to apply. You must also be a hard-working student.
- Significant achievement in sport
If you are competing at a regional or national level in your sport, you could be eligible for support and funding through the Middlesex Sports Scholarship Scheme. This is for talented sports performers, who are keen to continue their sporting endeavours and compete for the University.
There are three levels of scholarship available with financial support ranging from £200 to £1,000 in any academic year. The decision on the level of financial support offered to successful applicants will be made by the Scholarships Committee, whose decision is final. Applications must be supported by a written reference and evidence relevant to your sporting achievements.
- The Glenn Vaus Scholarship
The Glenn Vaus Scholarship was set up by the family of Glenn Vaus in his memory. Glenn Vaus was an Interior Design Alumni of Middlesex University and this Scholarship is open to all Interior Design students progressing to either their second or third year of studies.
- The Lucy Graham Dance Award
The Lucy Graham Dance award is funded by the family of Lucy Graham, a well-respected dancer and teacher.
The value of the award is £500 and if you are a current student enrolled on a BA Dance Programme or starting your course in September you are eligible to apply. To win this award you should be able to display achievement despite economic and personal difficulties and have completed some dance-focused community engagement.
- The Middlesex University Food Practical Prize
The Middlesex University Food Safety Prize is available to any Environmental Health student who has demonstrated excellent academic potential and achieved the best overall performance in their Food Practical exam in the opinion of the Food Practical examiners.
Two awards are offered; one at undergraduate and one at postgraduate level. Each student will receive a £100 cash award.
- The SureFoot Solutions Food Safety Dissertation Project Prize
The SureFoot Solutions Food Safety Prize is awarded to the Environmental Health student who has demonstrated excellent academic and research skills and achieved the best overall grade in their dissertation project within the area of Food Safety.
Two awards are offered; one at undergraduate and one at postgraduate level. Each award winner will receive £150.
- Santander Mobility Scholarship
There are twenty Santander Mobility Scholarships available for students who study abroad on an international exchange.
The Santander Work-Based Learning Award
The Santander Work-Based Learning Award has been kindly donated by Santander as part of the Santander Universities Scheme. If you are currently enrolled on a Work-Based Learning Course and can display academic excellence then you are eligible to apply for this award. The value of the award is £5,000.
