Women Techmakers Ambassadors are leaders around the world who are passionate about empowering their communities through organizing events, public speaking, creating content, and mentoring. With access to a global community and exclusive resources, Ambassadors are helping build a world where all women can thrive in tech.
The Women Techmakers Ambassador program is designed to provide support for women in the field of technology who aim to make a difference and contribute to their communities. In her role as an Ambassador, she actively engages with her community by participating in various leadership activities on a quarterly basis. The Ambassadors benefit from the assistance offered by Google as well as the larger Ambassador community.
One of the responsibilities of an Ambassador is to host events such as meet-ups, power panels, or International Women’s Day gatherings. These events serve as platforms to educate, connect, and inspire the local tech community. Additionally, Ambassadors have the opportunity to share their expertise on any topic of their choice. Past ambassadors have shared their knowledge on Google technologies, diversity, equity, inclusion initiatives, well-being, and various other subjects. They have contributed by filming instructional videos, creating custom code snippets, writing blog posts, and sharing their insights and experiences with the community. Another crucial aspect of the Women Techmakers Ambassador program is mentorship. Ambassadors play a pivotal role in empowering and guiding the next generation of technologists. By mentoring others, they help shape and inspire future leaders in the field of technology.
As an Ambassador, individuals can actively participate in their local tech community by organizing events, speaking at conferences, creating valuable content, or providing mentorship. They receive support from Google, which enables them to effectively carry out these activities and make a positive impact in their communities.
Ambassadors also gain exclusive access to talks and workshops led by Google, focusing on topics such as leadership development and in-depth exploration of Google technologies. These resources provide Ambassadors with valuable insights and knowledge to enhance their skills and expertise.
Furthermore, the Women Techmakers Ambassador program recognizes the impactful work done by Ambassadors in their respective communities. The global Women Techmakers team acknowledges and celebrates the contributions made by Ambassadors, providing them with well-deserved recognition for their efforts in creating a more inclusive and diverse tech industry.

Eligibilities
- 18 years old or older.
- Active leaders in your tech community with at least 1 year of experience organizing events, speaking at events, creating resources like blogs or videos, and/or mentoring others.
- Interested in further skill development, with a genuine interest in Google technologies.
- Willing to actively participate in the program and commit time to execute any of the community activities above throughout the year (~10 hours/quarter minimum commitment ).
