Nominations for 2020 FORBES 30 Under 30 For US/Canada and Europe are now open!
For the ninth year straight, Forbes is looking for the best and boldest young leaders, creators and thinkers to join their dynamic Under 30 community. The community includes founders, funders, philanthropists, foodies, filmmakers, fashionistas. With an acceptance rate below 5%, competition is intense.
The most important part of the list is the nominations. Every year they sift through tens of thousands of nominations. If the reader knows somebody (including himself) who should join the ranks of Forbes Under 30, he/she is requested to fill out the online nomination form for the 2020 U.S./Canada and Europe lists.

Forbes Media creates three 30 Under 30 Lists (U.S./Canada, Asia and Europe). They are currently opening nominations for both U.S./Canada and Europe Lists. Nomination of the candidate must be done for the region in which they are the most prominent. This could be based on region of incorporation, majority of sales, residence, etc. Citizenship is not a requirement.
For the U.S./Canada list, there are 20 categories: Art & Style, Consumer Tech, Education, Energy, Enterprise Tech, Finance, Food & Drink, Games, Healthcare, Hollywood & Entertainment, Law & Policy, Manufacturing & Industry, Marketing & Advertising, Media, Music, Retail & Commerce, Science, Social Entrepreneurs, Sports, Venture Capital.
For the Europe list, there are 10 categories: Art & Culture, Finance, Media & Marketing, Science & Healthcare, Social Entrepreneurs, Sports & Games, Entertainment, Manufacturing & Industry, Retail & Ecommerce, and Technology.
The reporters and editors take a holistic approach in evaluating nominees. There is no metric (funding, revenue, partnerships, impact etc) that is a silver bullet for getting on the list. Therefore, it is recommended to include all of the most impressive attributes that put the candidate’s best foot forward.

Eligibilities
- Nominee must be 29 or younger on December 31, 2019 (Born in 1990 or later).
- Must fall under the categories of the respective regions listed in the description above
