Google MBA Internship Program is a paid internship that will immerse you into the tech industry on a high-impact team. You’ll enhance your skill set, be challenged with rigorous work, grow your network and drive meaningful change in their business. Outside of your core work, you will participate in a high-touch program that exposes you to Google’s business operations, connects you with interns and Googlers, and invests in your personal and professional development. Interns will be considered for potential full-time opportunities in their host organizations based on their internship performance.

Responsibilities are assigned to interns at the start of the program and will be determined based on your educational background, interests, and skills.
Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. To do so, they offer Internet-related services and products, which includes but not limited to online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software and hardware. The company was first found in 1996 by the PhD students from Stanford University, namely Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
As of March 2018, Google has 85,050 employees. Google’s 2017 diversity report states that 31% of its workforce are women and 69% are men, with the ethnicity of its workforce being predominantly white (56%) and Asian (35%). Within tech roles, however, 20% were women; and 25% of leadership roles were held by women. The report also announced that Intel’s former vice-president, CDO, and CHRO Danielle Brown would be joining Google as its new Vice-President of Diversity. A March 2013 report was presented at EclipseCon2013 which detailed that Google had over 10,000 developers based in more than 40 offices.

It was also nominated in 2010 to be the world’s most attractive employer to graduating students in the Universum Communications talent attraction index. Eligibilities
Minimum qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program.
- Available for a 12 week program in 2019 (during summer months).
Preferred qualifications:
- Returning to a full-time MBA program after the internship.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and independent motivation.
- Effective project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment.
- Interest in the technology industry and Google’s business.
- Analytical skills, and ability to solve highly strategic and difficult business problems.
