Eligibilities
- Applicants must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student with a strong academic record.
- Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in economics, political economy, or a related field.
- Applicants must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants must be willing to participate in a summer internship at the Mercatus Center.
- The Mercatus Center also encourages applicants to have experience in conducting economic research, strong quantitative skills, a demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems, and a passion for economics and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to the field.
