YMGCP International Youth Virtual Conference 2020

Young Mind for Good Stewardship Community and Peace Building is a Nigeria based international youth-led organization which seeks to globally enlighten youths on peaceful co-existence and community building, amongst other things, in order to provide lasting solutions to the challenges facing their countries and the world at large.

The organisation aims to achieve this by educating, informing, creating awareness as well as enlightening the youth and the public on the various ways to achieve a better and peaceful society.

In view of their goals and recent global happenings, they would be hosting a virtual conference between the 21st and 25th of July 2020.

This shall be an International Youth Conference on Peace, Justice and Strong Institution (SGD 16 & 17). The conference theme, “Youths Around the World: Creating a Sustainable Global Society” is centred around youths and their role in ensuring a peaceful and just society with strong institutions that uphold these terms in the practical sense of it.

The conference shall be held online through zoom platform with a target of 1000 participants from 190 countries of the world with at least three (3) participants from each country. The conference would last for five (5) days which shall contain nine (9) plenary sessions and each session would last two (2) hours.

The sessions would be held both in the morning and evening where a guest speaker would lecture participants on a given topic for thirty (30) minutes and questions and answer for twenty (20) minute. The session would then be yielded to the plenary session where selected twelve (12) youth speakers would give a situational report of peace, justice and strong institution in their countries for three (3) minute each and the plenary session would also last for one (1) hour.  This would be the modality and procedure until the end of the conference on 25th July 2020.
