The Model Organization of Islamic Cooperation is an ICYF initiative, and it aims at creating a vibrant student driven network through MOIC clubs. Under this platform, students will go through an active learning experience where students initially mobilize and later organize a MOIC project followed by the establishment of a MOIC Club in their respective university. The organization of the project is an ongoing process and MOIC Summits are organized by the MOIC uniton a regular basis.

International Qatar MOIC Summit program is a MOIC simulation format to be implemented in Qatar. This program is open to local and international students who live in Qatar. The International Qatar MOIC Summit spans through 2-days on 28 February-1 March 2022 in online format by ICYF and Hamad bin Khalifa University.

Main objective of the International Qatar MOIC Summit is to create a simulation based, resourceful and interactive platform for local or international students in Qatar. The Summit also garnerspassionate students who can enhance the capacity and knowledge of all participants about the international football diplomacy and negotiation.   

The  program  aims to achieve the following objectives: 

  • Advancing partnerships, deepen commitment to youth diversity, including establishing knowledge networks for sharing information and best practices. 
  • To serve as a platform for exchanging ideas on understanding of the main political, cultural and social affairs within the OIC member states.
  • To initiate dialogue, discussions, debates, exchanges, and potential co-operations among participants. 
  • To increase awareness around football diplomacy among youth. 
  • To encourage new members for MOIC Student Clubs Project in Qatar. 

ICYF envisions empowered youth across the OIC region actualizing their full potential for the sustainable development of their communities, nations, and the world, driven by the Islamic values of cooperation, excellence and unity.

ICYF builds the capacity of OIC youth through strategies, policy frameworks, programs and projects furthering civic engagement, holistic education, capacity-building and best practices addressing the critical problems of unemployment, health and wellness, limited opportunities, extremism and social exclusion while building their capabilities of intellectual and leadership development, scientific and technological innovation, entrepreneurship, media and communication informed by a shared Islamic heritage, culture, and universal values.
