Unloc is a leading education non profit founded in 2013 by award-winning young leaders and advocates Hayden Taylor and Ben Dowling. They help schools, colleges and organisations inspire and empower young people to be changemakers through bespoke and innovative programmes in entrepreneurship, leadership, career pathways and student voice. They work towards their mission by delivering inspiring educational programmes in their growing network of schools and colleges.

Their mission is to empower young people to be innovative changemakers who seek to build stronger communities and sustainable businesses. We develop young people’s skills, enhance their potential and boost their determination to succeed.

They work with schools and colleges to create a multi-phase Changemaker strategy that includes a variety of Unloc programmes throughout the school or college journey. Our programmes are focused on developing:

01. Leadership Skills

02. Entrepreneurial Skills

03. Student Voice

04. Promoting Career Pathways

Unloc online is a unique learning platform helping students aged 11-19 to explore entrepreneurship, employability, leadership, career pathways and much more from the comfort of their home. Their interactive e-courses combine interactive content, such as videos, self-guided tasks and interactive quizzes with real-time feedback and support for students from Unloc’s Virtual Tutors.

In partnership with One Young World, they are distributing 10 Micro Grants for young people in Northern Ireland to test or develop their own business or community project that advances on one of the Sustainable Development Goals.
