The world is full of architectural wonders, unique celebrations and special moments that make up part of our rich religious heritage. If you have a passion for photography this is your chance to share your creativity with an enthusiastic community of heritage lovers and win a prize for it.

The FRH Photo Competition recognises each year the 9 best photographs related to the religious heritage of Europe and the world.

The competition has three categories:

  • Religious Buildings
  • People and Events
  • Artefacts

The FRH Photo Competition 2024 will be open for entries until 30 September. Help to show the beauty and diversity of religious heritage around the world!

Benefits

The winner will be invited to the 2026 FRH Conference, and all costs will be covered up to a maximum of 1,000€. Finalists will be welcome to participate in the conference at their own cost. FRH will also issue a special publication with photos of the winner and finalists in each category that will be promoted throughout Europe.

Eligibilities

The contest is open to everyone regardless of their nationality and whether they are
professional photographers or not.

By participating in this contest you give your consent for FRH to use the submitted photos in the network’s not-for-profit communications including the website, promotional materials, etc.
