The Organization for Social Orientation (OSO) is a non-governmental and non-profit research and action network that was founded in 2008 in the coastal city of Chittagong, Bangladesh, by a group of young professionals, researchers and social entrepreneurs from South Asia. OSO’s goal is to help the process of sustainable socio-economic development in South Asia. Its constituency is based on membership drawn from researchers, experts, academics, professionals, students and institutions engaged in research, action and development process in socioeconomic fields in South Asia.
