Workshop on Better Development: A Justice Based Approach

The Justice Based Approach, developed by our Founders and Directors, is a new approach that develops critical thinking and reflection for leadership and programming. Through the training, we will critically challenge and explore many assumptions about methodology and practice in the following areas:

– Strategic Leadership
– Programme Design
– Evidence-based decision making
– Participatory Approaches
– System Analysis
– Privilege and Power
– Rights Based Programming
– Monitoring and Evaluation for Learning
– Ethics and Accountability

We’ve been delighted to have staff from over 200 organizations across the world attend this training. Our participants are a rich mix of large INGOs such as BRAC, ActionAid Australia, Oxfam, CARE, Plan International Australia, Amnesty International, UNICEF, UNFPA, World Vision Australia, as well as national and local NGOs and CSOs.

We’re proud to offer financial assistance for a limited number of local and national organizations. Please contact us for more information. Unfortunately, full bursaries are not available.

We offer a discount of 10% if you book 10+ participants. Several large organizations have attended with 10+ staff and funded/subsidized their grassroots partners and grantees to also attend.
