Public Health Training Camp

This workshop is designed for people working in the field of public health who want to refresh or update or broaden their knowledge and skills, or considering a career in public health research.

Facilitated by a team of renowned international experts including Prof Stuart Gilmour, St. Luke’s International University, Tokyo, Japan; Prof Papia Sultana, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh; Prof Shahjahan Khan, University of Southern Queensland, Australia; Assistant Prof. Mizanur Rahman, The University of Tokyo, Japan; Jenny Jung, Yale University, USA; Associate Prof. Jinghua Li, Sun Yat-sen University, China; Prof Md. Kamrujjman, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh; Md. Shafiur Rahman, The University of Tokyo, Japan, this workshop will cover both theory and application of the selected topics with a mixture of lectures and practical sessions, including ‘hands-on’ training to explore and analyze public health data using Stata software. The main emphasis will be on developing research skills required to conduct systematic reviews and meta-analysis, and infectious disease modeling.
