Active Citizens programme aims to bring about sustainable social change within communities by establishing a global network of leaders. Their purpose is to increase the contribution of community leaders towards achieving sustainable development both locally and globally.
Active Citizens Social Enterprise is a social leadership training programme developed by the British Council, which promotes intercultural dialogue and community-led social-development through a social enterprise lens. ACSE training helps participants to become more self-aware and confident as leaders, strengthen their capacity to communicate and build strong relationships with others. Their programme has been implemented in 10 countries worldwide, working with more than 150 partnering organizations and more than 17,590 social entrepreneurs trained.

- 18-25 age and have innovative ideas about Social Enterprise can apply
- Young leaders living in Bangladesh, committed to and passionate about social entrepreneurship, community engagement, social development
- Young leaders with a passion for the SDGs and an idea on how they could address one of the Sustainable Development Goals in their community
