UNV in Bangladesh will support the ongoing national consultation and UN Country Team processes by facilitating and leveraging the engagement of civil society, communities (especially targeted groups within the country)especially through national, local and regional consultations and global networking. An important component of the project will also focus on knowledge building and sharing, highlighting the relevance of volunteerism and civic engagement across different areas of thematic delivery, including the specific relevance of engaging young people in efforts to achieve national development goals.

Eligibilities
- Requires a completed Bachelor/Masters degree in computer science, development, economics, social studies, graphics design or other relevant field
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Bengali
- Experience on content development, developing knowledge products, research skills, data management, graphic design,and managing social media
- Previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture,(i.e. studies, volunteer work, internship) would be highly regarded
- This is a National Youth UN Volunteer assignment,therefore only nationals of (Bangladesh) and legal residents in (Bangladesh) with the status of refugee or with the status of being stateless are eligible to apply
