Islamic Development Bank-Bangladesh Islamic Solidarity Educational Wakf (IDB-BISEW) was established following an agreement between the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and the Government of Bangladesh. The IDB-BISEW IT scholarship Project is an educational and training network composed of approximate twenty-five IT training institutions, a full-scale R & D cell dedicated for developing training resources and curriculum and an administrative body headed by the management office of IDB-BISEW.

The purpose of the project is to provide the scholarship to underprivileged but meritorious Muslim Youths to undergo extensive training for the development of employable skills in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). These unemployed graduates possess enormous potential which could not yet be properly exploited due to lack of finance.

Benefits

  • The selected candidates will get an opportunity to undergo training by participating in a certificate or a Diploma level course at one of the premier training institutes in Dhaka & Chittagong
  • In financial terms, these courses are worth approximately Tk. 1,35,000 for training only
  • An additional sum of around Tk. 20,000 is spent for vendor certification for each trainee
  • After successful completion of the training job placement
  • Employers choose CVs from this site and select candidates for employment

Eligibilities

  • Honors/ Fajil/ Masters/ Kamil / Diploma ( civil, architecture, survey construction) completed students can apply
  • students who are doing 1-year duration masters  can also apply
  • Students who are studying in 2 years long duration and currently in last year can apply too
  • In SSC and HSC CGPA 2.25
