United International University Photography Club (UIUPC) proudly announcing that “SHUTTER STORIES – Chapter – 03” a National Photography Exhibition is coming this year. We are trying to bring out the creative & talented photographers under a new platform.
The universe is a living story which is still an unveiled mystery. It is a photographer who captures the moments into a frame and the photograph tells the story of itself. UIU Photography Club calling for the photographs to share the unseen around us to express those mesmerizing stories. “SHUTTER STORIES – Chapter 03” wants to express those stories on its grand stage to showcase the inherent creativity of photography.

Awards:
Section A: (Single Photos)
• Winner, first runner-up and second runner-up selected from each of categories will be awarded with a crest and a certificate.
Section B: (Photo Story)
• “Creativity – Best Creative Story” award: The best photo story will be awarded with a crest and a certificate.
Eligibilities
The participant should be a student of undergraduate, graduate or any equivalent level & freelancer.

Section A:
(Single Photos)
There are two medium
• Black & White
• Color
Each medium contains 5 categories.
Individual Photos can be submitted in following categories:
1. Portrait
2. Street & Lifestyle
3. Current Affairs.
4. Nature & Landscape
5. Conceptual
* Each participant can submit at most 5 photos per category.
*A person can submit in all Categories.
*A person can submit maximum 25 photos.
*All kinds of photo manipulations are allowed only in Conceptual category.
Section B:
(Photo story)
Photo stories including journalism, personal stories, creative/conceptual will be accepted. You can use any type of photos to express your creativity.
Number of photos per story: (5 – 8)
A person can submit maximum 2 Photo Stories.
Submission Procedures:
For Section A:
(Single Photo)
1.Submit your photographs through email at: [email protected] .
2. Renaming the Photos:
Each (single) photo should follow this naming convention-
University name _Participant’s name_Category_Serial no_Mobile no.
For example: UIU/ Freelancer _Mohiuzzaman_Portrait_01_+8801XXXXXXXXX.
3. Resolution:
Must be in JPEG or JPG format, and must be at least 3000 pixels on the longer side. Minimum resolution is 300dpi.
4. No Watermark/Border/Frame allowed.
5. The .doc File:
The email must contain a .doc file with the required information:
• Participant’s name
• University name/ Freelancer
• T-shirt size
• Address
• Contact number
• Email address
*No entries will be accepted without the .doc file.
For Section B:
(Photo Story)
1.Submit your photographs in a .zip folder through email at_
[email protected]
2. Renaming the .zip files:
Send us each photo story in .zip format containing-
University name _Participant’s name_Title_Mobile no.
For example:
UIU/ Freelancer_Mohiuzzaman_Soul_+8801XXXXXXXXX
3. Resolution:
Must be in JPEG or JPG format, and must be at least 3000 pixels on the longer side. Minimum resolution is 300dpi.
4. No Watermark/Border/Frame allowed.
5. The .doc File:
A .doc file must contain the followings –
• Story description (must)
• Participant’s name
• University name/ Company Name (If any)
• T-shirt size
