The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) possesses well-trained faculty members and researchers along with modern lab facilities. The department actively encourages its undergraduate and graduate students to engage themselves in research. It strives to achieve the following objectives:

• To produce graduates who can use state-of-the-art electronic/ telecommunication/ power system engineering tools to identify and solve real world problems.
• To train students in research methodologies so that they can contribute towards creation of new knowledge and development.
• To prepare the students with a solid foundation of a wide range of EEE courses designed in accordance with the curricula of renowned electrical and computer engineering schools in North America and Europe.

Faculty Overview
A good portion of the faculty members hold PhDs and have conducted a substantial amount of research and gathered experience on teaching and working at related industries at home and abroad. Most of the department’s faculty members hold master’s degrees from globally reputed universities and they are actively working in pushing the boundaries in their own fields of research, working as a team with students and research assistants towards BracU’s common goal of inspiring excellence. The faculty members are continuously publishing their works in reputed journals and conferences in this field. Recent publications of the faculty members include ACS Nano, IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, IEEE GHTC, IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE TENCON, etc.
