Deutsche Post is looking for a Business Development Specialist 2020 in Dhaka.
To acquire, maintain & develop new customers group from diversified industries of B2B & B2C segment, through positioning DHL as a strategic business partner, and deliver agreed programs across the various support group in-country organization.
Accountabilities:
– Customer:
– Acquire, maintain & develop B2C business opportunities
– Identify and drive service improvement opportunity for ensuring better customer experience for diversified industry segments
– Identify, establish and manage multi-tiered relationships across customer and within DHL to ensure long-term business partnerships
– Lead and manage customer presentations and proposals, ensuring that there is a common understanding of service expectations and solutions both with the customer and DHL’s internal organization
– Process:
– Implement the account strategy set by the Sales Management
– Create a competitive advantage for the customer in his business and price for value on behalf of DHL
– Develop and manage the after-sales strategy for each of the designated area/markets/customers
– Develop strategies, service initiatives and contingency plans for the effective denial of competitor initiatives with the customers to maintain and grow SOW
– Grow customer base
– Improve Market penetration – drive to add new customers
– Manage the effective segmentation of each customer’s business and understand the customer’s needs to ensure that DHL is targeting the right type of business to achieve the long-term profitability objectives (Industry Diversification)
– Financial:
– Achieve agreed revenue and volume targets
– Monitor financial health of accounts and take steps to assure profitability
– Work within a specified cost budget

Eligibilities
- Skills:
- Ability to manage and develop relationships and negotiate at all levels of management in a customer organization
- Computer software literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- High caliber in sales
- Highly Motivated
- Excellent Drive and Resilience
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Experience:
- Exposure in handling specific industry accounts is an advantage
- Comprehensive knowledge of DHL network or related industry is an advantage.
- Total dedication to and focus upon servicing and supporting both internal and external customers
- Ideally with experience in selling to the key industries
- Minimum 2-3 years corporate sales experience, preferably in a service-related industry
- Educational Qualifications:
- Preferably with a Post Graduate degree in Business Management
