Augmedix is hiring Software Engineer 2020 in Dhaka.
Augmedix is a telemedicine charting service for healthcare providers that eliminates the 17 hours each week providers spend on EHR documentation. Using wearable technology to connect their clinic with the Augmedix charting service, providers can focus on what they do best: taking care of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Automate product build and release processes and maintain it.
- Troubleshoot, analyze and remedy planning support for escalated issues reported from frontline/customer-care and IT troubleshooting team on cloud infrastructures
- Work with developers and QA engineers to create, maintain and improve build and delivery processes using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Design, plan, and implement HIPAA compliant and fault-tolerant software cloud IT infrastructure solutions
- Implement monitoring and logging tools for servers and services to track and identify issues
- Work on cost optimization to control cloud expenses
- Analyze and resolve software cloud infrastructure issues Own and maintain server configurations for Linux and Windows-based VMs
- Implement SSL Certificates, DHCP, DNS, Domain Controllers, Firewalls, Access Lists
- Need to work in night shift and sometimes on weekends

Eligibilities
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- 1+ years experience in different Linux distribution like Red Hat, Cent OS, Amazon Linux, Debian, Ubuntu
- 1-2 years experience with AWS cloud hosting solution and its various services like EC2, NLB, ELB, S3, RDS, VPC, SG, IAM Policy etc.
- Experience in Release Automation and Continuous Integration and Deployment processes with popular DevOps tools primarily using Jenkins, Rundeck, Chef and Ansible.
- 1+ years’ experience in working with GIT for version control
- Experience in docker container management
- Experience in relational database management
- Experience in web service management like nginx and tomcat
- Strong writing and speaking English communications skills
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of core Java and back-end application development is a plus
- Experience in working with AWS OpsWorks is an advantage
- Experience in working with Ticket management and tech document management for tracking project
- Knowledge of HIPAA rules and requirements
- Experience in working with overseas (preferably US based) clients
- Experience in working with Agile teams and methodologies
- Familiarity with highly scalable design and deployment
- Experience in designing and promoting cloud infrastructures
- Experiencing in open source load balancing tool like haproxy
