Action Contre La Faim hiring an Emergency Logistics Head Of Department 2020 in Cox’s Bazar.
The position: Under the direct supervision of the Field Coordinator Operations, the Logistics Coordinator will take a leadership role in executing effective and efficient procurement, logistics and warehouse services and asset control management for massive number of ongoing programs in Cox’s Bazar.
He will also ensuring values and competencies in maintaining transparency, integrity and compliance with established rules and regulations of ACF and the respective donors. Undertake logistics team performance management, draw up development action plans as necessary and take a leadership in capacity buildings. More precisely, you will :
- Coordinate logistics at base level
- Ensure Logistic support for all program activities
- Provide supply chain management and procurement
- Supervise the partners administration
- Participate to emergency preparations
- Ensure team management and capacity building
- Proactively support ACF’s commitment to gender equality, child protection and disability
The Logistics Coordinator will be managing the entire Logistics activities of ACF Cox Bazar Base. The operation will involve the delivery of services, supplies and resources of approximately 20 million EUR over 2020-21 for over 30 Donor funded projects; managing base’s logistics team that currently consists of 3 (three) managers and 6 (six) officers and more 150 watchmen in 60 ACF’s facilities;

The activities with refugees in Cox’s Bazar started in 2009 and as gradually increased and extended to the Bangladeshi community in 5 different upazillas.

- + Per diem and living allowance: 532 € (cf euro cost) net, field paid.

Leaves and RnR:
- 25 days of paid leaves per year.
- + 20 RnR per year.
- + 215 € at each RnR period (averagely every 3 months)
- Coverage of the transportation expenses to the RnR area of reference.
Training :
- Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge ©.
- Technical training at HQ or regional level (averagely 1 per year) + Intermission Workshop once a year.
