Role Overview
- Working at project location – In this role, you will provide on-site support in the project location and/or VSO office, (full-time unless otherwise specified) for a set period of time.
- This is a national volunteer role responsible for technical oversight of a comprehensive MHPSS focused intervention.
- Capacity building of local partner organizations, Government officials and staff members on MHPSS.

Eligibilities
- University Degree in in a relevant discipline (e.g., clinical or counselling psychology, clinical social work, Psychiatry, mental health care etc.).
- At least 2 years’ experience working on MHPSS programme, psychosocial support, humanitarian response or community development, gender/GBV and social work.
- A sound understanding of National policy and local referral systems on social protection and GBV.
- Good understanding of the stakeholder landscape at the local level in the context of Bangladesh.
- Knowledge of potential partners in MHPSS/GBV.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within different cultural environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sexual and reproductive health issues and/or protection issues in humanitarian settings.
- A good command of verbal and written English.
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and able to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to deal appropriately and professionally with possible crises within the group
- Commitment for full-time volunteering Programme.
