UNDP is looking for Human Resources Officer – Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme 2021 in Dhaka
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all the functions of the Human Resources (HR) unit of a2i Programme.
- Responsile for day to day HR activities.
- Follow up of all the HR related work and ensure employee satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Country office to Manage recruitment processes effectively and efficiently.
- Conduct service evaluation advise contract extension in a timely manner.
- Guide the HR team members in the preparation of vacancy announcements, drafting TORs and coordinating with Country office about the recruitments & The GoB recruitment is as per GoB rules and regulations respectively.
- Guide Programme Staffs in developing ToR in compliance with UNDP & GoB rules respectively.
- Ensure all the HR activities of the project are implemented following UNDP user guidelines.
- Drafting SOPs for the project for HR related processes.
- Managing the overtime of all the SC holders.
- Manage all the work related to insurance
- Coordinate with Country office of timely payment of monthly salaries
- Keep information on the status of various UNDP contracts, ensures that all the, including contract extensions, are done well in advance.
- Maintain records and filling systems as per UNDP guideline.
- Supervise staff supporting office management
- Coordinate with Country office about grievance handling and provide advice to the colleagues as per country office advice
- Motivate and develop strong working relationships among staffs.
- Organization of Training and different knowledge sharing sessions for the project staff.
- Maintain close contact with UNDSS, UNDP security focal & IDB Bhaban authority for any kind of office maintenance, safety and security issue.
- Oversight of physical maintenance of project office
- Keep abreast of current global and corporate strategies, assessing the impact of any changes and making recommendations on new or revised procedures and practices.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management

Eligibilities
Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor degree in Social Science / Business Administration or Human Resources Management, or any other relevant field or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- At least 5 (five) years of experience in handling/managing human resources related work
- Human Resources Management experience in UNDP projects or any other UN agency or NGO is desirable.
- Knowledge and skills in operating MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel) is essential.
- Previous experience in ICT related project will be an added advantage.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Bangla
