UN World Food Programme is looking for Programme Associate (Climate Risk Insurance) 2025 in Dhaka & Cox’s Bazar.
Job Responsbilities:
- Climate Risk Insurance (CRI) Implementation: Organize and oversee the execution of CRI and livelihood interventions.
- Partnership Development: Establish collaborations with local institutions and civil society organizations to implement CRI programs.
- Research & Advocacy: Conduct and share research on CRI-related topics to inform policymakers and a broader audience.
- Capacity Development: Support training efforts for insurance design, implementation, and scaling up alternative distribution channels.
- Team & Partner Training: Enhance the capacity of the Resilience Cox’s team and cooperating partners on CRI.
- Project Reporting & Documentation: Contribute to preparing project budgets, donor reports, quarterly reports, case studies, blogs, and publications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong professional relationships with cooperating and technical partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Training Material Development: Support the creation of training materials, guidelines, SOPs, and other technical documents.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements :
1.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Public Finance, Insurance, or a relevant discipline.
2. Experience:
- Minimum six (06) years of experience in the development sector, specifically in insurance interventions for risk transfer and resilience building.
- Strong knowledge of disaster, agricultural, and climate insurance initiatives at micro, meso, and macro levels is highly desirable.
3. Language:
- Fluency in English (Level C).
- Native proficiency in Bangla.
