UN CAREER is looking for Pharmacy Assistant (Adv#289/2023) 2023 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Dispense drugs to the patients discharged from hospital and attend patients of Matlab staff clinic;
- Explain the use, route, direction of medication to the patients/Patient’s attendants;
- Create awareness among the patients about the side-effect of medication (if any);
- Dispense the right drug and quantity with appropriate forms in order to ensure proper dispensing of medicines.
- Ensure adequate stocks of medicines, appliances and hospital supplies and receive goods from Matlab central store;
- Carry on day to day inventory management;
- Perform periodic and annual physical verification of stock conducted by external Audit Firm to adhere to proper stock management;
- Prepare daily, monthly, yearly reports on inventory, drug consumption, expiry of medicine, breakage etc;
- Check quality of drugs and hospital supplies receiving from central store;
- Update supervisor on feedback of Patient/Patient’s attendants, staff’s feedback regarding the medicine brand, quality etc to ensure smooth functioning of pharmacy and increase customer satisfaction.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- H.S.C passed or equivalent with a Training in Pharmacy Dispensing under the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh;
- 3 years of relevant experience in any reputed organization/pharmacy;
- Candidate with diploma or higher degree in pharmacy would be given preference.
