- Overall coordination between Finance Focal Points of Consortia Members / Financial Technical Reference
Groups. - Financial analysis and reporting of consortia members’ financial expenditures and comparison of actual
with the forecast. - Review and consolidate the consortia budgets.
- Provide regular analysis and reports.
- Implement anti-corruption policy.
- Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy.
- Acting as finance focal point for other Consortia where NRC is the grant holder when required.
- Ensure that the annual project closure is done properly, and no costs are left unreported to donors.
- Focal point for conducting financial due diligence of potential Consortia members in upcoming consortia.
Specific responsibilities:
These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation,
strategic focus and type of intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the
context changes significantly.
- Direct focal point for financial management of all NRC led consortia.
- Ensure the technical aspect of finance is met in consortia within NRC and it is practiced based on NRC
global consortium guidelines. - Collect analyze and consolidate periodic (monthly/quarterly/yearly) financial reports from Consortia Members.
- Coordinate internal and external audits between Consortia Members in cooperation with the consortia manager.
- Review and provide feedback to Consortia Members on periodic (monthly/quarterly/yearly) financial reports.
- Consolidate and submit monthly/quarterly and ad-hoc financial reporting package (Financial Report,
- Inventory List, and Instalment Request) to Consortia Coordination Unit’s Manager on time.
- Ensure that reports are in compliance with donor template and specific reporting requirements.
- Lead the forecast preparation process to ensure that Consortia Members submit a more reliable and realistic forecast that can be achieved.
