Standard Chartered is looking for Business Development Officer (Employee Banking) 2025 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Business and Financial:
- Achieve set targets for the number of accounts and sales volume in Employee Banking.
- Increase the customer base by acquiring new clients.
- Capitalize on cross-sell opportunities to expand the range of products and services offered.
- Organize and assist in sales and service campaigns.
- Communicate with clients and potential clients to identify and act on sales opportunities.
- Ensure cost minimization and maintain a controlled environment.
2. Sales:
- Sell relevant products and services to meet or exceed set sales targets.
3. People & Talent:
- Foster an environment where the Employee Banking team collaborates and demonstrates the bank’s values.
- Maintain open communication channels and motivate the team to meet targets and objectives.
4. Governance, Compliance, and Regulatory Framework:
- Ensure consistent communication with staff on compliance requirements and non-negotiable standards.
- Ensure adherence to processes and controls for preventing money laundering, miss-selling, misrepresentation, fraud, and customer complaints, in line with Group policy and standards.
- Maintain a good relationship with local Legal and Compliance teams to address any regulatory/compliance-related issues.
5. Operational Quality:
- Ensure that Account Opening Forms (AOF) and applications are error-free.
6. Health & Safety:
- Ensure that health and safety-related issues are escalated promptly.

Eligibilities
Job requirements:
1. Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
2. Role-Specific Technical Competencies:
- Strong selling and interpersonal skills to convince customers and sell banking products.
- Creativity in addressing customer demands using existing bank products.
- Initiative and drive to meet targets and service standards.
- Strong organizational skills to handle campaigns, promotions, mail shots, and seminars.
- High level of adherence to the bank’s policies and procedures.
