Robi is looking for Manager, Enterprise and DC Network Planning 2024 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and deploy Cisco routing and switching solutions, including Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco ISR routers, and Cisco Nexus switches. Develop network designs and architectures that meet the organization’s requirements for performance, availability, and security.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP to optimize network routing and traffic engineering.
- Implement and manage VLANs, trunking, spanning tree protocols (STP), and other switching technologies to segment and optimize network traffic. Configure and maintain network security features such as access control lists (ACLs), firewalls, and VPNs to protect the network from unauthorized access and security threats.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Wireshark, and SNMP monitoring.
- Perform network upgrades and migrations, including hardware replacements, software upgrades, and capacity expansions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes, resolve issues, and support business initiatives.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure the accuracy and reliability of network operations.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in Cisco routing and switching to recommend and implement innovative solutions for network optimization and improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE in Routing and Switching.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Cisco routing and switching solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS operating systems. Experience with Cisco routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).
- Familiarity with network security principles and technologies, including ACLs, firewalls, and VPNs.
