Robi is looking for Manager, Digital Products & Growth, Market Operation Division 2020 in Dhaka.

Digital Products & Growth Manager will be part of a newly created organization charged with creating best-in-class digital products and customer experiences. This role will have the rare opportunity to establish and nurture external engagements with industry leaders, including: entrepreneurs, start-ups, Robi’s IT partners, venture capital firms, e-sports & lifestyle community, research labs, consumer products/services companies, VCs and more. The role will create new digital business and will be a key contributor to the development of digital brand leveraging Robi’s telco strength.

Key Accountability :

  • Be the visionary driver of digital innovation culture, cultivate new ideas, set clear strategy & get funding approval from local management/Axiata Digital/investors and take the full ownership to grow the venture to a next level.
  • Will play role of digital products & growth lead to identify new opportunities within local and international arena, develop the concept, manage & maximize business opportunities for Robi Digital Services.
  • Play Agile Product Owner Role – own and drive backlog grooming and management, prioritize user stories, create acceptance criteria and drive test & reach to customers.
  • Drive & lead the delivery and governance of multiple digital projects with 3rd party partners, specially Agile/Scrum fashion; with the autonomy to implement lean governance principles and controls.
  • Play growth hacker role to manage all performance marketing including paid acquisition, conversion optimization, push and retargeting. Lead an analytical approach to identify growth initiatives – ddevelop new acquisition, engagement and retention programs
  • Be the owner of the product business targets – P/L and quality goals, including prioritize high-level task to achieve set KPI targets for each product.

Robi is the second largest mobile network operator in Bangladesh with 46.88 Mn subscribers as of end of December 2018. The company commenced operation in 1997 as Telekom Malaysia International (Bangladesh) with the brand name ‘Aktel’. In 2010, it was rebranded as ‘Robi’ and the company changed its name to Robi Axiata Limited.

Financial Impact: (Direct): The person is expected to generate and manage total revenue of 200lm-300m BDT in 2 to 3 years. He will also be the lead for spending over 100m to 200m per year based on contracts awarded to the OTT developers as part of the project execution.

Eligibilities

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Data Science or similar and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • At least 4-5 years’ work experience in OTT player, Innovation, Digital service, Social Media or start-up environment
  • 1 to 3 years developing digital concepts involving competitive analysis, analytical research and user testing and producing impressive presentations
  • International OTT industry knowledge is required.
