Primark is looking for Supply Chain Analyst 2023 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Manager in the region, you will be responsible for the assisting the manager with smooth operation of Supply Chain activities within the defined region; and providing effective exception management where SOP/SLA cannot be achieved
- The role is based in Bangladesh and covers analysis for Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka supply chain.
- Ownership of an Order Execution Report and process for your region – ensuring no PO falls through the gaps and late arriving POs are known/communicated/contingency plan put in place
- Support the RSCM on delivering Primark Cares sustainability initiatives and promote a safe working environment in all operations
- Receive and respond to supplier related queries in Origin, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager on operation optimisation and project implementation
- First point of contact with 4PL service providers for operational exception management (supplier and consolidation approval) and air/ocean/road carrier issue resolution
- Continually redefine exception management with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure it matches the needs of the business
- Day to day coordination with Inbound Business Partnering and 4PLs in regards to: key product launches, late arrivals, known supply chain disruptions (i.e. Chinese New Year, National Week, Eid, …) etc.
- Manage the production of regional origin MI and analysis for inbound supply chain operations.
- Help design and develop specific dashboards and reports and ability to interpret data and present findings in a clear format
- Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to management
- Drive data quality improvements across the operation
- Provide accurate and insightful analysis in response to ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests
- To work with all our suppliers to achieve SLAs and KPIs and develop relationships with all logistics suppliers in the region.
- Assist the RSCM in managing the regional CFS operations by overseeing and managing suppliers against KPI’s.
- Reviewing CFS performance in periodic reviews
- Assist in planning for spikes in regional volumes.
- Assist the RSCM in managing the country specific operations across all modes of transport
- Working with the QC operations build processes to ensure all pre-shipment inspections meet our Supply Chain requirements e.g. carton quality, H&S
- Assist the RSCM – Origin roll out new initiatives and train our suppliers at origin particularly new suppliers producing training material as necessary
- Support the RSCM in keeping the supply Chain handbook updated with agreed best practice.

Eligibilities
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience working with large volumes of data/documents – simplifying reporting to make it easy for all to use
- Operational oversight of a wide supply base
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear and concise reports and visualisations
- Strong end to end Supply Chain awareness and understanding; and a solid grounding in origin supply chain operations
- Previous Supply Chain, Merchandising or Sourcing Office experience is essential
- Good influencing skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Proven experience of having worked in a similar role previously
- Ability to deliver and achieve results within demanding timescales

Core Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Access)
- Experience of SQL, particularly in designing insightful business intelligence reporting that is easily modifiable as our business needs change
