Optimizely is hiring Team Lead, Data Analytics 2024 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads both operational and directional aspects for the data analytics team
- Accountable for team’s consistent delivery of high quality, on time work; dependencies and impacts have been vetted and mitigated upon final delivery
- Partially responsible for employee life cycle, including advising hiring manager by screening and interviewing candidates, on-boarding, goal alignment, work assignment and addressing skill gaps for each team member.
Builds team with healthy dynamics - Upholds department and company policies and reinforces them when necessary
- Mentor and develop a team of data analysts
- Provide operational input, contribute to proof of concepts, and support implementation activities for Self-Service BI
- Build compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards that enable us to democratize analytics
- Utilize statistics to identify the significance, noise, and correlation in data
Identify opportunities for advanced analytics that leverage data assets across the broader organization - Develop relationships with business teams to drive value and adoption
- Work with data science, data engineers, architects, and business teams to ensure analysis and visualizations scale efficiently
- Develop and supply operational reporting, including quarterly summaries, monthly trends, week-over-week analysis, and daily reporting
- Uses data patterns and trends to root cause operational gaps and inefficiency, develop solutions in collaboration with teams
- Identify process and system gaps and highlight areas for optimization/automation with the goal of driving projects to improve these areas

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in data analytics, digital analytics, BI, consulting or related field
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when there is ambiguity involved
– An appetite to mentor and develop others
– Ability to autonomously identify opportunities for advanced analytics or data products with minimal direction
– Experience in building SQL queries across complex relational database experience (Python is a bonus)
– Experience translating between business KPI requirements and technical specs
– A basic proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
– Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
– Strong interpersonal skills, with a track record of working well with business stakeholders
– Insatiable curiosity and tenacity to keep digging
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience
