LC Waikiki is looking for a Fabric Buyer 2025 in Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Fabric Research & Development:

Research and develop fabrics quickly in line with trends, mood boards, and inspiration from the product and buying teams.
Stay updated on fabric manufacturers and market trends to bring new opportunities to the brand.
Select the right fabric qualities based on price range and production timelines.
Present new fabric innovations and trend insights to designers and buyers.

2. Sampling & Production Coordination:

Determine and source sample yardage to meet quality and lead time targets.
Manage lab dip, strike-off, and handloom requests.
Negotiate fabric pricing and lead times for production models.
Oversee the booking process for required fabrics.

3. Trend & Competitor Analysis:

Monitor fashion trends and competitors to provide valuable insights.
Identify new fabric needs for NOS (Never Out of Stock) and CORE qualities.
Work closely with designers and buyers to align fabric choices with brand vision.
