Japan Tobacco International is hiring Building and Utility Project Engineer 2022 in Dhaka.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures safe, effective and timely implementation of all B&U projects at factory. Installation conversions, major overhauls of Utility equipment. Building and utilities equipment projects consider: construction, steel frame structures, RCC/CC, gas lines, ventilation systems, boilers, compressed air, cold and hot water systems, vacuum, roads, walls, roofs and windows, steam generation equipment, electrical equipment.
- Prepares related expense justifications together with project customers and update EAM monthly for respective projects.
- Manages contractors during installation/construction stage. Collects all internal and external requirements for Capex implementation and involves in planning and justification of incoming requests.
- Supports global engineering, global EHS, global procurement to implement standards.
- Upkeeps proper utility asset and cooperates finance team for asset management.
- Ensures availability of licenses and certificates required by local legislation.
- Implements and ensures effective application of continuous improvement processes: 5S3R, energy management, new technologies
Position Purpose
To drives all projects related to B&U of the factory by ensuring right solution and technology in line with future B&U footprint. Ensures project completion as per agreed timeline and expenses as per BAP. To maintain Global engineering and EH&S standards during for B&U project execution by involving contactors. To ensure project reports and EAM update as per reporting guldeline and to drive 5S3R for respective projects.

Eligibilities
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate degree in Engineering (Civil/Construction (preferable), Mechanical/Electrical).
- Knowledge and experience managing utility equipment not less than 3 years.
- English – upper intermediate. Excel – upper intermediate (vlookup, subtotal, sumproduct, pivots).
- AutoCAD – Intermediate.
