IFPRI is hiring Consultancy for the Joint Interventions to Improve Birth Outcomes and Nutrition Research Project 2023 in Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop the PE and IR protocol, qualitative interview guides for mothers, and qualitative interview guides for service providers
- Lead the training of enumerators and pilot-test the interview guides
- Accompany enumerators to the field to monitor the quality of data collection
- Conduct observations of implementation in the field
- Attend meetings as needed with local stakeholders
- Oversee the transcription and translation of PE and IR data
- Analyze the PE and IR data
- Produce a report interpreting the PE and IR study findings
- Produce a draft manuscript of the PE and IR study findings, suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed journal

Eligibilities
- Master’s degree in nutrition, public health, social sciences, or related field
- Experience conducting process evaluations and implementation research in Bangladesh
- Experience developing protocols, designing survey instruments, and leading enumerator training
- Experience communicating with local and international collaborators
- Experience coauthoring academic papers
- Strong writing and research skills, as well as analytical qualitative and quantitative skills
- Experience using NVivo software for qualitative analysis
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in Bengali and English
- Experience working effectively to achieve demanding deadlines
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to multitask, focus, and work effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently while establishing strong working relationships
- Ability to travel to and within Bangladesh
