HSBC is looking for Head of ALCM and Business Finance, Finance 2021 in Dhaka

They are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Head of ALCM and Business Finance , Finance (Senior Vice President).
Principal Responsibilities
- Manage the Bangladesh Assets Liability and Capital Management Committee (ALCO) as Secretary Member by ensuring all Liquidity, Funding and Capital requirements are fully meet as per the HSBC Group and local regulatory requirement.
- Proactive management of Liquidity and Capital to ensure optimum use of it
- Support CFO to managing the country EXCO meeting proceeding.
- Support CFO and CEO by delivering any one off bank wide critical projects
- Primary Delegate of the CFO
- Working closely with business to provide business finance support with regular contact with senior management
- Manage the business Finance and ALCM team and motive team to deliver the team objective
- Over-site the Offshore team on a regular basis
- Facilitate and support the day to day and strategic management of Bangladesh business through the preparation, analysis and distribution of value added, timely, and commercial analysis
- Responsibility for working with the businesses to set plan and Strategic targets and hold the business to account for the actions set out in these plans
- Review, manage and deliver management information deliverables for monthly reporting, forecast cycles and ad hoc requests
- Provide client profitability analysis for business and finance management on regular/ad hoc basis
- Provide ad hoc support and assistance on revenue and balance sheet reporting and analysis to the other members of the finance team
- Facilitate and assist the business through the preparation, analysis and distribution of financial reports and analysis
- Drive efficiencies in production of MI reporting and streamline processes and standardize where possible
- Participate in and provide financial input into the Business Reviews
- Support the development and implementation of various improvement initiatives, and drive efficiencies in MI reporting where possible
- Drive reporting changes to provide more value added, including the adoption of visualization tools

Eligibilities
- An recognized accountancy or finance professional qualification (e.g. CA/ACCA/CMA etc.) along with graduation in business studies.
- Strong financial services knowledge and relevant working experience at managerial level
- A good understanding of the corporate business and its products would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities
- Commercially minded and customer focused
- Proven track record of successful business partnering
- Proficiency in MS office. Qliksense and TM1 would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and pro-active problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast changing environment to tight deadlines
