Global Communications, designs and implements communications strategies which support HSBC’s business objectives, in line with their values, and enhance and protect their reputation among key stakeholders.
They are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Communications Manager (Vice President).
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with Head of Communications, Bangladesh looking after Leadership and People Communications.
- Support the development and deployment of content to raise employee awareness, understanding and engagement in the country
- Use insight and feedback to develop compelling content primaily for internal audiences but designing select pieces to amplify across external channels to promote advocacy/employer brand/recruitment
- Build strong relationships with the business and supporting them with useful, relevant and timely tools, guidance and content
- Help introduce platforms that enable employees to discuss, challenge and contribute ideas that help embed a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Support the delivery of organisational change
- Work closely with Regional Communications office to roll out relevant campaigns
- Use insights and feedback to inform the communications planning and execution across various internal and interlocking audiences and via a range of channels
- Measure impact and effectiveness, contributing to robust Snapshot results
- Coordinate team planning and communications for the country

Eligibilities
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor degree from a public/ private university
- Strong event/ project management skills/experience
- Strong stakeholder relationships at all levels and in managing a wide range of internal stakeholder relationships, including by matrix and virtually
- Ability to understand business issues and devise communication solutions that deliver results, constructing fresh approaches where appropriate and making connections to other issues.
- Able to work in an ambiguous environment, prioritise and reconcile competing demands and resolve complex issues.
- Exceptional writing ability, particularly in developing short, fresh content using more straightforward language and for use by leaders and across multiple channels (including digital channels)
- Experience of social media will be an advantage, including writing press releases and talking points for leadership interviews
- Video production, graphic design/layout skills will be an advantage
- Strong grip in the native languague (both oral and written)
