Job Responsibilities:
Looking for the perfect mix of technical development, production capability and leadership within sustainability function? We are hiring a Governance Specialist.
- As a Governance Specialist focusing on Material Integrity Compliance, you are responsible for the development of these tools and routines to ensure that we have reliable methods of determining the integrity of the materials we use in production.
- You are responsible for development and follow up of routines and tools that ensures compliance on all 3rd party Textile Sustainability & Traceability standards ( i.e for OCS, GOTS, GRS, RCS, BCI etc ) for the materials we use in production.
- You collaborate with certifying bodies, standard owners, and accreditation bodies as well as work closely with H&M group’s Production Offices providing them support for material integrity related topics.
- You also responsible to strengthen implementation of routines and guidelines through internal controls and governance audits.

Job Requirements:
- Our ideal candidate is a high self driven person who have strong leadership skills and drive others towards common goals. The candidate needs to have extensive knowledge of production process and sustainable material claims.
- Having knowledge in material certification process is crucial since this role need to be able to drive and facilitate implementation of the sustainable material claim strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required for this role to build meaningful relationships with multiple stakeholders, and you need to able to work independently to provide the right support to your stakeholders.
- You must have proactive, innovative and solution-oriented approach to manage current and future challenges.
