Foodpanda is looking for Demand Planning Specialist 2021 in Dhaka.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a business forecast for the business unit, based on statistical forecast and sales & marketing activities (promotion, phase in/out, new launches, dis-continuations. challenge the forecast as needed.
- Translate demand plan into a supply plan for order placement principals, analyze and highlight business risk and opportunity to stakeholders and jointly propose appropriate mitigation plans
- Define order volumes based on adjusted aggregated store demand, available inventory, and sell out rate.
- Create long-term demand forecasts, taking into account fluctuations. (e.g. promotional activities, seasonality)
- Share forecast information with logistics and marketing departments- Develop and prepare monthly forecast files and KPI report.

Eligibilities
- At least a Bachelor degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another analytical field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Analytical mind and business acumen with ability to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends and to form conclusions based on findings. Must be extremely detailed oriented.
- Excellent analytical skills, independent thinking, data oriented, and knowledge of analytics tools required
- Experience with geographical data or GIS tools such as QGIS and Kepler is a plus
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Quick learner and proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- High integrity and work ethic
- Team player with an ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
