Field Nation is Hiring Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Lead 2024 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Leading and mentoring a team of SDETs to ensure the successful execution and delivery of automated tests
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the business requirements and technical specifications of our products
- Designing and implementing automated tests using Playwright and Cucumber.
- Developing test plans, cases, and scripts to validate the functionality and performance of our software.
- Executing and maintaining automated tests, and tracking and reporting defects and issues
- Evaluating and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our testing processes and tools
- Providing technical guidance and support to QA analysts and software engineers
- Evaluate and provide performance feedback to SDETs to drive top performance.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automated testing
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing teams of SDETs
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks, such as Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of continuous integration and experience incorporating test automation into build pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
