Deriv is looking for Disaster Recovery Analyst (Relocation) 2022 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead disaster recovery exercises, for example, a ‘database failure’ exercise, together with your colleagues from the DevOps, WinOps, and SRE teams.
- Conduct business impact analysis together with the internal system and SaaS owners to ascertain and define recovery objectives (and, of course, also put that business impact analysis to the test!)
- Continually develop and audit our planning and execution processes to validate their efficiency and identify their weaknesses and areas for improvement.
- Be a great DR Ambassador to promote DR adoption throughout the company.

Eligibilities
- An excellent understanding of the principles, concepts, and governing framework associated with disaster recovery
- Thorough knowledge of cloud providers and their product offering (compute, storage, database)
- A solid understanding of the ITIL framework for IT Service Delivery together with the principles of business continuity and its importance in ensuring good continuous availability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to interface with all levels in the company
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
