Daraz is looking for Assistant Manager – Security (HSSE) 2024 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Planning, formulating, implementing, and supervising fire safety plans.
- Ensure proper placement of fire and life safety equipment.
- Ensure the fire extinguishers and other fire equipment are placed on the ground and perform regular maintenance.
- Perform fire safety inspections for the existing and new offices.
- Manage fire safety inventory.
- Formulate an Emergency evacuation plan for every location.
- Formulate safety instructions for Daraz and 3rd party employees to train/brief them.
- Responsible for working closely with external fire service departments so as to be able to build a strong and feasible emergency response plan.
- Inspect buildings to determine fire protection system requirements and potential problems in areas such as water supplies, exit locations, and construction materials.
- Train personnel on Fire Fighting & workplace safety and the use of Personal Protective Equipment on safety issues.
- Conducts regular fire & Emergency evacuation drills.
- Documentation of fire safety and environmental security.

Eligibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any reputed university. Candidates from CSE background are preferred.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of working experience in relevant field. Experiences in Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE).
- Mandatory knowledge of fire safety drill procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
- Ability to work under pressure.
