Bongo is hiring Principal Mobile Engineer 2022 in Bangladesh.
Job Requirements
In this role, you will:
- Be aware of the goals, make key decisions, and make good decisions for the team
- Lead development of Bongo mobile (Android, Android TV, iOS) applications
- Collaborate with software engineers, PM, QA, and UX to design and deliver unique, innovative mobile features that delight our customers
- Determine the best design and architecture for any given problem
- Make sure application performance meets industry standards
- DevOps automation to build apps for different clients including Bongo
- Contribute to API design through collaboration with API teams
- Active participation in architectural decisions and being objective
- Ensure that the team is following best practices
- Supervise and mentor all mobile engineers of the team for continuous improvement

Eligibilities
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of work experience as a Mobile Engineer
- Previous experience of leading a mobile team as the key decision maker
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science (Optional)
Technical Skills Required:
- Deep Knowledge of Java or Kotlin, and mobile applications
- Frameworks and Techs: Android SDK, Exoplayer-2 (HSL, SS, DASH), Jetpack Components, Room, LiveData, Kotlin Coroutines, Retrofit, OkHttp, JUnit, Espresso
- Understanding of the SOLID principles, dependency inversion, Hilt, Dagger 2, etc
- Knowledge of clean code, MVVM, MVP, MVI is a must
- A solid understanding of Kotlin coroutines and all the advanced features available
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and requirements
