Job Responsibilities:
- Create illustrations for animation projects
- Create assets to be used by animators on our team
- Produce assets in Adobe Illustrator ready for animation
- Produce storyboards for animation productions
- Interpret scripts for animations into conceptual art, storyboards, animatics, and animations
- Build assets and visual libraries for characters and locations
- Research animation styles, trends, animation tools, and digital animation techniques
Big Blue is a growing digital projects, communications, and research firm that supports international development organisations and their programmes.Launched in 2012, Big Blue now has a presence in the UK, Malaysia, and Bangladesh. We lead digital projects, communications and learning for programmes. We also produce web and app products, e-learning experiences, visuals, publications, and animation – a digital team for international development.

Eligibilities
- Portfolio of commercial work in illustration
- Experience with animation, motion effects, and video editing is a major plus
- 3-7 years industry experience with an animation team or agency
- Ability to manage and prioritise projects effectively and to meet deadlines
- English language fluency
- High proficiency in a mix of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Final Cut and Premier
Terms:
- 6-12-month full-time contract (including 3-month review period)
- To start as soon as possible
- Sunday-Thursday work schedule
- 16 days annual leave + Bangladesh public holidays
- Monthly travel allowance when offices are open (currently closed due to covid)
- 2 Eid bonuses each of 50% monthly salary paid after 6 months
