Berger Paints Ltd is looking for Category Supply Planner 2021 in Dhaka
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist annual purchase budget preparation of direct materials to drive proper fund management, product costing & expense planning.
- Analyze and assist to design and execute inventory stock norms, safety stock for budget preparation and future procurement to ensure effective working capital and inventory management.
- Execute strategies of direct materials procurement to maintain the purchase rate variance within targeted budget by negotiation, synergy purchase, source diversification, liaison with global and local suppliers’ and forward hedging.
- Actively participate in innovation & renovation process for timely product launch, ensuring source, competitive pricing, supply market information and regulatory/statutory compliance as per law of the land.
- Contribute in the team’s drive to design order quantity, negotiating with suppliers for maximum shelf-life, communicating with R&D to consume slow and non-moving inventory.
- Monitor and maintain close liaison with foreign and local suppliers to track price trend, supply scenario as well as ensuring competitive price and availability of product.

Qualification:
- Bachelor from any recognized university.
- MBA, diploma or comparable degree in supply chain management from a recognized university will be considered as an added advantage
Experience : Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
