BAT is looking for an Assistant Compliance Manager – Finance 2025 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring Compliance:
- Assist in monitoring and assessing adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.
- Ensure strict compliance with BAT Group policies and procedures.
- Track industry developments and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
2. Implementing Compliance Programs:
- Help develop, implement, and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
- Identify and evaluate potential compliance risks, developing mitigation strategies.
- Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management and the Board Audit Committee.
- Conduct compliance training for employees on regulations and internal standards.
3. Internal Audits and Investigations:
- Assist in conducting internal audits to evaluate regulatory and policy compliance.
- Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes.
- Collaborate with Group and Regional Compliance teams for risk management initiatives.
- Support investigations into potential compliance violations and implement corrective actions.
4. Collaboration and Support:
- Work across departments to address compliance concerns.
- Provide guidance on compliance matters to various teams.
5. Monitoring External Compliance Regulations:
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the organization.
- Ensure company policies align with evolving industry regulations.
6. Managing Team:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer for new team members.
7. Business Partnering:
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
- Maintain strong business relationships through proactive engagement.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance, accounting, or any related field from a recognized university.
- At least 3 years of experience in finance, compliance or risk management.
- Possess strong technical and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work with all levels within the organization and experience in managing senior managers.
- Good communications skills with ability to explain and defend issues with respect to key decisions.
- Ability to establish priority within key deliverables
