BAT is looking for a commercial Finance Manager operations – supply Chain 2022 in Dhaka , Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
• The role is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing and supply chain operations at the organisation from a planning and reporting perspective.
• The individual will be responsible for managing the product costs, overall cost of sales, savings & cost avoidance initiatives, and be an integral part of new product initiatives and other relevant projects.
•The role ensures that a robust control environment is in place and that all operations-related Group & Local financial reporting requirements are met.
•The role will drive this through continuous engagement with business partners from manufacturing, supply network operations, leaf, brands, trade marketing and other sub functions within finance.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Business partnering: the role needs to bring financial expertise to support decision making and implementation of savings and cost optimization initiatives.
• Championing controls: the role needs to ensure adequate / robust controls environment in operations, including supporting Commercial Finance Controller, Operations in being compliant to SOX and participating in controls review related to Operations.
• Reporting: the role manages Regional/ Global/Local Statutory reporting and ad-hoc internal and external requirements for reporting of Cost of Sales and its individual components.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
• A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems
• Rational decision making and problem-solving ability is essential
• Upbeat, self-motivated, result-driven, highly adaptable, and able to work independently
Additional Requirements :
• An ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties.
• Ability to handle large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and relevant format.
• A good understanding of other functional areas, e.g. operations and marketing would be an advantage.
