BAT is hiring Assistant Security Manager 2023 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain measures to ensure security of personnel and assets at following locations: Dhaka Factory & Head Office
- Transportation of FG across the country.
- Assist anti-illicit drive to defeat/deter illicit trade.
- Develop / monitor/ maintain fire prevention & protection system and procedures.
- Assess, monitor, and review all electronic security and fire protection system.
- Prepare and execute plans to counter any crisis faced by the company.
- Develop all (permanent & contractual) security personnel through appropriate security/fire training to be able to apply BATB Security Policies & procedures.
- Ensure appropriate level of administrative and logistics back up of security personnel to retain operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain liaison with Civil Administration, Armed Forces, all relevant law enforcing and intelligence agencies.
- Support other departments in conducting internal and external events related to promotional / other event management.
- Continually seek opportunities to innovate and increase efficiency on security measures for distribution networks.
- Improve security system and work process to achieve synergy with supply chain.
- Supervise/assist day-to-day administration of security personnel.
- Liaison with Fire service & Civil Defence for improved support in fire management system.
- Liaison with Professional Security Service/ Product providers to monitor current trends and developments, cost-effective cutting-edge solutions for BATB security.
- Predict and identify security trends/developments and recommend capitalising in the most cost-effective way.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Graduate with relevant professional training, certificate, and at least 3 years of experience.
- Ability to effectively deal with stress and mitigate security / safety crisis.
- Ability to develop and plan clear goals consistent with agreed strategies including contingencies.
- Possess strong managerial / leadership skills. Sound analytical ability in respect to complex issues and implementation of action plans.
- Excellent communications skills with ability to explain and defend difficult issues with respect to key decisions/ complex concepts.
- Ability to establish priorities and to plan, coordinate and monitor work of others.
- Good technological awareness on electronic security equipment, communication system, explosives and other sophisticated devices applied in modern security system. Conversant with commonly used computer applications.
- Good interpersonal skills to develop teamwork; be able to maintain effective working relations with people from different backgrounds and culture.
- Committed to identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions as well as establish effective relationships with outside stakeholders.
- Good judgment and initiative. Ability to manage and coordinate many different activities / operations
- Knowledge and expertise with relevant experience in law enforcement, military, or corporate security.
- Ability to identify and address key security issues.
- Sound mature judgement and decision-making ability.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
